Daryl Griffith
Director

Daryl is an award winning composer, orchestrator and conductor. His work encompasses concert, theatrical and dance productions as well as film, television and record releases.

Some of Daryl’s notable achievements include being awarded the Hecht and Alchin prize for Composition & the First Silver Medal for his LGSM Diploma recital, being Conductor and Principal Pianist with English National Ballet, Orchestrating Prokofieff’s Cinderella in London’s West End & Los Angeles' Ahmenson Theater, and providing orchestrations for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, as well as a number of BAFTA winning & nominated projects.

Daryl is also Co-founder / director of production music catalogue 2nd Foundation Music, with composer and MPSE nominated Music Editor, Bradley Farmer. And, in 2023 Daryl launched Conducting for Film to help composers improve their session conducting skills.

 

Wes Hicks
Production Manager

Wes is an AV engineer, music editor, and musician who has been working with MMUK since 2014. He has edited, engineered, produced, mixed, filmed, and orchestrated recordings for worldwide commercial release.

Having graduated from the University of Surrey’s acclaimed Tonmeister course, Wes obtained a First-class (Hons) degree and was also awarded the AMS Neve Portfolio Prize, presented for most outstanding portfolio. He has been involved in the music departments for feature films, trailers, and TV series including projects for clients such as Netflix, Paramount, BBC, Warner/Chappell, Disney, Universal, TNT, Audiomachine, and more.

Wes also composes music for production music label Arrow Production Music.

 

James Yan
Music Production Coordinator

James Yan is Media Composer and Orchestrator based in London.


A graduate of the Royal College of Music’s prestigious Composition for Screen course, he has composed scores to a variety of short films, documentaries, web series and animations. He has also contributed music to a variety of UK and Australian based Production Music companies, wherein his music has been featured on the BBC, Big Ten Network, Eurosport, PBS, CNN, ESPN, Discovery, the NBA and the NFL’s ‘All Access’ among others.


In addition to his work as a composer, he also heads up the orchestration team for MMUK, and has worked on a variety of Films, TV Shows and Video Games, including “The Acolyte”, “Call of Duty: Mobile” and “Tiger 3”.


 

Ben Griffin
Audio Editor & Mixer

Ben is an editor & music mixer who has working in sound and music post production since 2018.

After graduating from the University of Surrey’s Creative Music Technology degree, Ben worked as a Sound Editor developing his craft of audio editing & mixing. His work in audio post production can be heard on numerous feature films and television series across various networks including Netflix, BBC, Disney, Amazon, and HBO.

Ben joined Maestro Music UK in 2023, focusing especially on the post production of music. He is keen to help with all aspects of MMUK projects, especially score and music editing.

Bradley Farmer
Music Editor & Composer

MPSE-nominated Film & TV music editor and composer Bradley Farmer has been working with Maestro Music UK since 2006. He has been involved in numerous prestigious and wide-ranging projects for Paramount, Disney, Amazon, Warner Bros, Netflix and more.

Credits include the Oscar Nominated “Baby Driver”, BAFTA-winning BBC series “The Hunt”, Oscar-nominated Disney feature film “Cinderella”, the Paramount Animation "Wonder Park", New Emmy-nominated Netflix Documentary "Our Planet", and Amazon spectacle "The Aeronauts". Additionally, Bradley works closely with Oscar-winning composer Steven Price (“Gravity”, “American Assassin”, “Suicide Squad”), and is regularly involved in recording and dubbing sessions in the UK, LA, and around the world.

James Taylor
Music Supervisor & Consultant

James Taylor is a breakthrough Music Supervisor, specialising in on-set music supervision.

Based in London, James began his career supervising and Music Directing shows on the West End, in the United Kingdom, and all around the world. As a talented pianist and conductor, James trained as a performer and songwriter, and completed studies in sound recording and engineering for the prestigious Tonmeister degree.

In the last few years, James has been a key part of the music in some of the world’s biggest movie musicals, from working with actors to supervising music departments for films including Disney’s Aladdin, Yesterday directed by Danny Boyle, Cats, Jingle Jangle, Netflix’s Pinocchio, and Wonka directed by Paul King.
